A national survey recently revealed that being active in a local chamber of commerce is a very effective business strategy because two-thirds of consumers believe that such companies use good business practices, are reputable, care about their customers, and are involved in the community.
Consumers are 10% more likely to think that services from an involved Chamber member stack up better than that of their competition.
The national study also indicates that chamber membership has consistent and compelling benefits for small business members, including:
Increase in its consumer favorability rating
Increase in consumer awareness
Increase in its local reputation
Increase in likelihood that consumers will patronize the business in the future
