After a meeting of the Board of Directors of your Women’s Chamber of Commerce and an evaluation of our on-going financial needs as an organization, it has been decided that the Women’s Chamber must under-go a re-evaluation of the organization.  To that end, we, as a board, have decided that effective midnight October 13, 2022, our organization will take a pause in order to complete our financial evaluation and determine how we can both serve our members at the level that you deserve and have all come to expect and still remain financially stable as an organization.  We appreciate your participation and enthusiasm in joining the first and only women’s chamber in the state of Louisiana.  We will notify all existing members if or when we resume our operations and monthly meetings.

This decision was not made without serious deliberations and concern over the needs and wants of our members.  We will keep you updated if any decisions are made to reorganize and what that may look like going forward.  Again, thank you for your participation, and keep up the good work as the outstanding businesswomen of this community.
